Special Adviser on Community Development to the Governor Sheriff Oborevwori, Amb Toyin Orighomisan Agbolayah, was the Chairman at a crucial one-day Security Summit for addressing the growing menace of herdsmen in Ika Nation.
This insightful event was organized by Comr. Eng. Chuks Emmanuel Mormah.
The summit was a true brainstorming session, bringing together key stakeholders, security experts, and community leaders to discuss the pressing issue of herdsmen activities and its impact on the area.
It was well-attended, with several professors and heads of security agencies delivering informative papers on the subject. Their insights and recommendations have paved the way for a deeper understanding of the challenges faced and possible solutions.
Agbolayah noted that the Delta State Government led by Rt. Hon Sheriff Oborevwori will ensure the recommendations are followed to bring lasting peace and ensure security of lives and properties in the community.
The Special Adviser extended his sincere gratitude to all the distinguished guests and participants who contributed to the success of the summit.
“Together, we can continue to push for sustainable security measures in Ika Nation and all of Delta State”, he added.
