Inauguration: Okowa conveys congratulatory message to Governor Oborevwori and Deputy

As Sen. Ifeanyi Okowa bows out of office, he has urged the newly sworn-in Governor, Sheriff Oborevwori and his Deputy, Monday Onyeme to look up to God for guidance and direction throughout their tenure in office.

Okowa spoke at the Inauguration Ceremony of Oborevwori and Onyeme at the Stephen Keshi Stadium, Asaba.

He said Governor Oborevwori will be able to surpass his achievements in the last eight years in office if he looks up to God.

According to Okowa, “The Lord is on the throne and his mercies and grace are all-sufficient. It will be well with you throughout your tenure.”

Okowa who noted that his eight years in office were characterized by trials and triumphs, referred the duo to Psalm 72:12 in the holy bible.

The ex-governor also took to his official Twitter to congratulate the newly sworn in governor saying, “To our dear friends, His Excellency Rt. Hon Sheriff Oborevwori, and his Deputy, Sir Monday Onyeme, on this auspicious day of your inauguration, I want to convey a heartfelt message of assurance and encouragement:

– May you find solace in the knowledge that all shall be well with you as you embark on this journey.

– Always remember God’s guidance throughout your lives, and let it serve as a beacon of inspiration for your tenure in office.

– Hold firm to the Almighty, seeking His wisdom and seeking His divine intervention in every decision you make.
