Senator Nwoko lights up Delta North with all-in-one solar streetlights

Senator Ned Nwoko has facilitated the installation of all-in-one solar-powered streetlights across selected communities in Delta North.

The project, executed by Al Qibad International Limited, is designed to provide sustainable lighting solutions to both rural and urban areas, addressing long-standing challenges of inadequate street illumination within the communities in Delta North.

Recognizing the impact of these challenges, Senator Nwoko took decisive steps to install modern, energy-efficient solar streetlights powered by renewable energy. The initiative has transformed the affected areas, providing consistent illumination and reducing dependence on erratic electricity supply.

Residents have lauded the intervention, noting that the streetlights have improved security by reducing crime, enhanced road safety, and extended business hours for traders. The all-in-one solar technology ensures minimal maintenance while delivering long-lasting lighting without reliance on the national grid.

Some of the locations benefiting from the project include Umusadege and Umusedeli along the Kwale-Ozoro Road in Ndokwa West, 223 Nnebisi Road in Isieke, Asaba, Oshimili South, and Idumuje Ugboko in Aniocha North. Senator Nwoko has assured that more communities will be included in the coming days.

As a strong advocate for sustainable development, Senator Nwoko continues to champion initiatives that improve the well-being of his constituents. His commitment to modern infrastructure projects such as this solar streetlight initiative underscores his vision for a safer and more economically vibrant Delta North.
