The Delta State Commissioner for Transportation, Hon. Onoriode Agofure has said residents will soon enjoy more dividends of democracy in the area of transportation as the MORE Agenda of Governor Sheriff Oborewvori is poised to subsidize transportation with the provision of Compressed Natural Gas, CNG centres across the State.
Agofure made this call in an exclusive interview with YourCitiNews Correspondent, Frederick Umuerure in Effurun, Uwvie Local Government Area of Delta State, noting that some of the policies of the Oborewvori’s administration that will better the lives of the people are long term. He also advised Deltans to be patient as the policies will soon yield results.
Speaking further, Agofure pointed out how some states in the country that have gone ahead to purchase CNG buses find it difficult to get fueling stations for those buses. He assured that the Delta State government and the Ministry of Transportation have both taken the time to make available infrastructure for the refueling stations across the state to enable Deltans enjoy subsidized transportation via the subsidized CNG buses across the state.
