The Governor of Delta State, Rt. Hon Sheriff Oborevwori has approved that workers in the State Public Service are to close by 12 noon, Friday 12th, July 2024.
According to a statement signed by the Secretary to the State Government, Dr Kingsley Emu, this is to enable public servants in the State participate fully in the upcoming State Local Government elections coming up on Saturday, July 13, 2024 as part of their civic responsibilities.
However, workers on essential services such as the health sector, security, media, who would need to render services should adopt a flexible schedule to enable them to exercise their civic duty.
