Dr. Jasper E. Ikpesu, a lecturer/HSE Manager at Petroleum Training Institute (PTI), Effurun has been awarded Professor of Occupational Health and Safety by Highstone Global University, Texas, United States (US).
By this award, Ikpesu becomes the first Professor in the Institute since it was established.
The announcement was made at an event that took place in University of Lagos, on Saturday, 24th of August, 2024.
Dr. Bumi S. Ovuru, Acting Director of Services in PTI was also awarded Professor of Public Administration.
It was gathered that the two new Professors are working in the same Directorate.
This academic heights attained by the both staff of the Institute is said to be a good sign of great things ahead.
