AC Milan Reportedly Lists Chukwueze for Transfer

AC Milan has allegedly included Nigerian winger Samuel Chukwueze on their transfer list as they prepare for the upcoming season, according to Milan News.

Chukwueze, who made the switch to the Rossoneri from Villarreal during the summer of 2023, has struggled to find consistency at San Siro.

In his 69 appearances across all competitions, the Nigerian international has managed to net just eight goals and provide six assists.

Although he has displayed moments of his usual skill, he has not fully acclimatized to life in Serie A and is now likely to leave the club.

Reports suggest that Real Betis, a club from Spain’s La Liga, is keenly observing Chukwueze’s situation as they consider a possible signing.

Milan’s decision occurs amidst a period of transition under the newly appointed manager Massimiliano Allegri, who is shaping his squad for the 2025/26 season.

Allegri has also deemed Loftus-Cheek and Noah Okafor as expendable as he seeks to rejuvenate the team.

Loftus-Cheek, who came to AC Milan from Chelsea in 2023, had an important role last season but found it hard to maintain a consistent impact in midfield, while Okafor has struggled to secure a regular starting spot since joining from RB Salzburg.

All three players are expected to consider their options as they look for new challenges. For Chukwueze in particular, a transfer might revitalize his career and offer a fresh chance to reclaim his top form.
