Aniocha North Chairman Reaffirms Commitment to Workers’ Welfare

The Executive Chairman of Aniocha North Local Government Area, Hon. Emmanuel Bazim Chinye, has reiterated his administration’s unwavering commitment to prioritising the welfare and wellbeing of workers as a cornerstone for effective governance and grassroots development.

Hon. Chinye made this known on Monday during an interactive meeting with management and staff of the local government at the Collins Ogwugwua NULGE Event Centre, located within the council secretariat in Issele-Uku.

The engagement provided a platform for open dialogue between the council leadership and the workforce, as the chairman outlined his vision for improved service delivery in the new year.

Commending workers for their dedication and resilience, Hon. Chinye acknowledged their significant contributions to the achievements recorded by his administration over the past year.

He expressed gratitude to God for the grace that enabled the workforce to witness the new year, 2026, describing the occasion as an opportunity for renewed commitment and collective progress.

The chairman described council workers as indispensable partners in the ongoing efforts to rebuild Aniocha North Local Government Area.

He assured them that his administration remains focused on creating a conducive working environment and delivering policies that will further enhance their welfare, stressing that the year ahead holds greater prospects.

Urging staff to remain disciplined, committed, and diligent in the discharge of their duties, Hon. Chinye emphasised that his administration has consistently demonstrated love, care, and compassion across all categories of workers.

He assured them that their sacrifices and dedication would not go unnoticed, adding that merit and hard work would continue to be recognised and rewarded.

The council chairman also called on workers to maintain their support and cooperation with the Delta State Government under the leadership of Governor Rt. Hon. Sheriff Francis Oborevwori, particularly in the implementation of the MORE Agenda with Renewed Hope.

He further urged alignment with the Renewed Hope Agenda of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, noting that synergy across all levels of government is essential for sustainable development.

In their remarks, workers commended Hon. Chinye for his inclusive leadership style and commitment to transparency and good governance.

They pledged their unalloyed loyalty to his administration while offering constructive suggestions on areas that could be strengthened to further improve workers’ welfare and productivity.

The meeting, which was attended by the full complement of the Aniocha North Local Government Executive Council, was the first interactive session between the chairman and council staff in 2026.

It underscored Hon. Chinye’s belief in continuous engagement and dialogue with workers as a vital tool for promoting peace, harmony, and efficiency in the workplace.

The interactive session reaffirmed the administration’s resolve to foster a motivated workforce, which Hon. Chinye described as critical to achieving sustainable development and delivering tangible dividends of democracy to the people of Aniocha North Local Government Area.
