Chelsea Demand £100m for Nicolas Jackson Amid AC Milan Interest

chelsea

Chelsea has reportedly established a firm asking price of £100 million for Senegal international Nicolas Jackson, amid increasing transfer interest from prominent European clubs, according to various reports.

The 23-year-old forward, who was signed from Villarreal in 2023, had a mixed debut season at Stamford Bridge but has emerged as a crucial player under the new manager, Enzo Maresca.

As per reports from UK media, particularly the Daily Mail, Chelsea is hesitant to part ways with Jackson unless their £100 million valuation is satisfied, which further indicates their confidence in his long-term potential.

This news comes as a surprise and contrasts with the remarks made by former Super Eagles captain and Chelsea legend Mikel Obi earlier this year.

As previously reported, during his widely followed Obi One Podcast, Mikel candidly voiced concerns regarding Jackson’s consistency and finishing skills:

“We are creating chances, we are still playing well, we are still doing the right things but we’re not clinical enough, we’re not scoring goals,

“We’ve discussed the need for another top striker who can secure victories in challenging matches, where if Nicolas Jackson is not performing at his best, we can substitute him and bring in someone else to help win games and score goals.

With Chelsea now placing Jackson’s price at £100 million, it is evident that the club believes he can fulfill that potential.

It remains uncertain whether potential buyers will meet that valuation, but it is clear that Jackson is poised to continue as a key player at Stamford Bridge
