The Anglican Diocese of Asaba held her first annual funfair to mark Christmas celebration, the birth of Jesus Christ and as a means of extending love to members. The event brought together all parishes across the diocese through the church Agape Foundation, a non governmental organization(NGO) led by the Bishop, Rit. Kingsley Obuh.
The event which spread excitement and merriment, was held at St Philip Anglican church Asaba, to impact lives with the joy of the season
In her opening remark, the chairman, program director lady Dr. Patience Ogbewe describe the event as a remarkable milestone, saying that it is the first time of the diocese hosting such. The initiative was to welcome brethren both Asaba and outside Asaba Anglican community. She said

According to her, the event was for children to have fun and to gifted some dedicated members across the diocese. “This is Christmas and we thought it will be best to make out something for children, as well some members, so we came out with this funfair and gifting ten persons from each parish, as you can see the children are having fun and they are happy” She concluded
Also speaking was the Bishop of Diocese of Asaba, Rit. Revn. Kingsley Obuh, represented by Ven. Herbert Umeh, urge Christians to emulate Jesus Christ, who is the reason for the celebration.
He described Christmas as season of sober reflection, spreading joy and extending a helping hand to others and encouraging they show love to one another in this season.
Speaking with Mrs. Stella Adam one of the beneficiaries, express her joy stating that she was not expecting such, acknowledging the Bishop and the organizers of the event, and praying for more blessings come year 2026.
