Nigeria’s match commissioners have unveiled new blazers powered by Premium Trust Bank as the latest season of the Nigeria Premier Football League commenced at the Moshood Abiola Sports Complex in Abeokuta on Friday.

‎The Chairman of the NFF Match Commissioners Appointment Committee and a member of the NFF Executive Committee, Alhaji Babagana Kalli, stated to thenff official website: “We wish to extend our appreciation to the President of the Nigeria Football Federation, Alhaji Ibrahim Musa Gusau (MON), for facilitating the collaboration with Premium Trust Bank, which has provided a fresh appearance for all match commissioners across the nation.

‎We have officially launched the new blazers during the inaugural match of the season, featuring Remo Stars FC against Rivers United FC, held at the MKO Abiola Sports Complex in Abeokuta on Friday.”

‎Kalli, who also serves as a FIFA Match Commissioner, urged match commissioners to elevate their performance and deliver their best in every match of this year’s NPFL season, noting that the pursuit of excellence by all has led to the establishment of a situation room prior to match days.

‎”We have established a situation room where we communicate with all match commissioners two days before each match day. The NPFL has incorporated additional elements into their Rule Book, and we utilize the environment and opportunity of the situation room to emphasize these new regulations to all match commissioners.
