Preparations for the 15th Biennial Police Games (BIPOGA) are officially in the final stages. On January 17, 2026, the Force Sports Planning Committee concluded a vital two-day strategic conference in Asaba, Delta State.
This meeting serves as a foundation for the upcoming games, which will run from February 7 to February 14, 2026. This year’s theme is “Beyond the Badge: Excellence in Action.”
Strategic Planning for BIPOGA 2026
The planning committee held meetings between Friday, January 16, and Saturday, January 17. AIG Fom Pam Joseph, the Chairman of the committee, led the delegation. Their primary goal was to fine-tune operational plans and logistics for the national event.
Several high-ranking officers attended the conference. These included AIG Suleiman Abdul, CP Dantawaye Miller, CP Hassan Gwani, and CP Osifo Emefiele. Additionally, the Commissioner of Police for Delta State, CP Aina Adesola, was present to coordinate local support.

Facility Inspections Across Asaba
After the conference, the committee embarked on a physical tour of the designated sporting facilities. They carefully assessed the infrastructure to ensure it meets high safety standards. Specifically, they looked at the suitability of the tracks, courts, and fields for the arriving athletes.
Following the inspection, AIG Fom Pam Joseph expressed satisfaction with the progress. He noted that the facilities are being prepared to host a world-class sporting festival. Consequently, the committee reaffirmed its commitment to a safe and orderly event.
