Dafinone Assures Youth Advancement Through Academic Support

Senator Ede Dafinone, who represents Delta Central Senatorial District, has restated his firm commitment to empowering his constituents through education, describing it as a vital foundation for sustainable development and youth progress.

He made this known while receiving Miss Favour Oghenetejiri and her mother on a courtesy visit to his Abuja office. The visit was to appreciate the Senator for his support and encouragement toward Favour’s academic advancement.

Miss Oghenetejiri, a native of Delta Central, is an outstanding scholar who graduated with a Second Class Upper (2:1) in Microbiology from the University of Abuja. Her academic excellence and strong interest in healthcare have marked her out as a young professional with great potential. In recognition of her achievements, Senator Dafinone facilitated her recommendation for Direct Entry admission into the Faculty of Medicine and Surgery (MBBS) at the University of Jos for the 2025/2026 academic session a major step forward in her educational journey.

During the meeting, the Senator stressed that supporting talented and hardworking young people remains a key focus of his representation. He noted that investing in education is one of the most effective ways to build a brighter future for Delta Central and Nigeria as a whole.

The visit underscored the impact of responsive leadership and mentorship, serving as an inspiration to other young people in the district. It also reaffirmed Senator Dafinone’s continued dedication to promoting academic excellence and strengthening human capital development across Delta Central.
