Dafinone Celebrates Onyeme’s Impact in Delta Governance

Senator Ede Dafinone has extended warm birthday wishes to Delta State Deputy Governor, Sir Monday Onyeme, as he marks his 61st birthday, praising him as a devoted public servant whose integrity, humility, and commitment continue to inspire trust across the state.

In a goodwill message released on Monday, the senator noted that Onyeme’s life has been defined by consistent service and dedication to the growth of Delta State, adding that his contributions to governance have earned him respect both within and outside the state.

Dafinone also applauded Onyeme’s strong working relationship with Governor Sheriff Oborevwori, saying their partnership has been key to the achievements recorded under the administration’s MORE Agenda.

“Your outstanding collaboration with His Excellency, Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori, has greatly contributed to the successes of the MORE Agenda. Through your cooperative leadership approach, you have strengthened governance, improved service delivery, and helped ensure that the benefits of democracy reach the grassroots,” he said.

He described the deputy governor as a calm, reliable leader whose administrative skill and loyalty to the administration’s vision have played an important role in maintaining stability and driving progress in the state.

“As Deputy Governor, your calm nature, administrative ability, and commitment to the shared vision of this government have significantly supported the stability and advancement of Delta State. Your capacity to combine leadership with wisdom and tact makes you a shining example of effective public service,” Dafinone added.

The senator further highlighted Onyeme’s disciplined and experienced approach to leadership, noting that his deep understanding of governance is vital for sustaining development.

On behalf of his family and the people of Delta Central Senatorial District, Dafinone celebrated Onyeme and prayed for continued good health, wisdom, and strength for him to serve the state and the nation even more effectively in the years ahead.

“I warmly felicitate with Your Excellency on this special occasion and pray that Almighty God blesses you with good health, wisdom, and strength to continue serving our state and nation with distinction,” he said.
