Dangote Refinery Updates Petrol Price Again

Just hours after announcing a recent price hike, Dangote Refinery has increased petrol prices again, following continued rises in international crude oil costs.

In its latest customer notice, the refinery raised the gantry price of Premium Motor Spirit (PMS) from ₦1,245 to ₦1,275 per litre, representing an additional ₦30 increase in a single day. The new price takes effect from 12:00 a.m. on March 21, 2026, replacing all previously announced rates.

The company stressed that “the prices contained in our previous correspondence are no longer applicable and should be disregarded,” signaling a full adjustment in response to rapidly changing market conditions. The coastal supply price was also revised upward, moving from ₦1,512,648 to ₦1,646,748 per metric tonne.

These rates now apply to all pending and yet-to-be-discharged volumes. Customers with valid Bank Guarantees can continue loading under existing ATCs and PRNs, provided they pay the additional price difference.

The back-to-back increases underscore how quickly fluctuations in global crude prices are affecting Nigeria’s downstream sector, hinting at the likelihood of further rises at fuel stations nationwide.
