Work has officially started on the highly anticipated Uromi Junction Flyover Bridge in Agbor, located in Ika South Local Government Area of Delta State, as heavy construction machinery has been mobilized to the project site.

The flyover project is being executed by Julius Berger Nigeria PLC, a top-tier engineering and construction company in Nigeria.

In a statement released on Wednesday, the Director-General of the Delta State Bureau for Orientation and Communications, Dr. Fred Latimore Oghenesivbe, confirmed the commencement of the project, describing it as a landmark infrastructure investment expected to deliver significant socio-economic gains.

According to him, the flyover will reshape the Agbor urban landscape by reducing gridlock, enhancing the city’s visual appeal, and stimulating business and trade activities across the metropolis.

Dr. Oghenesivbe commended Governor Sheriff Oborevwori, calling him a strategic and dependable leader who fulfills his commitments, noting that his administration continues to prioritize infrastructure expansion and statewide economic advancement.
