Association Of All Registered Political Parties, ARPP, Delta State Chapter, has called on Deltans irrespective of their political affiliations to set aside grudges and support the State Governor-elect, Rt. Hon Sherrif Oborevwori to move the state forward.

The Chairman of the group, Comrade Godwin Omorovwon and his vice, Mr. Francis Uguruweh, paid a congratulatory visit to Oborevwori’s country home at Osubi, Okpe Local Government Area.

The group noted that “the Governor-elect, for what he is known for, will continue to keep his arms wide open to embrace those that are very ready to work with him in moving the state forward.”

Advancing reasons why the association gave it’s support to Oborevwori, they said they are sure that the Governor-elect is a reliable candidate to unite the State for growth and development, expressing optimism that all the ethnic groups in the state would be carried along in the scheme of things.

They congratulated the Governor-elect on his victory at the polls and in all his legal battles, describing them as victory for all Deltans.

On her part, the Woman Leader of the group, Mrs. Dorcas Idehen urged Oborevwori to endeavour to revive some of the moribund companies in the state so as to create employment for the youths.
