Delta First Lady distributes over 5,000 food packs to vulnerable groups, under the RHI food outreach

Wife of the Governor of Delta State Deaconess Tobore Oborevwori, has continued the distribution of food items under the Renewed Hope Initiative (RHI) Food Outreach Scheme, led by Senator Oluremi Tinubu (CON).

Deaconess Oborevwori, during the ceremony at the government house, Asaba, disbursed over 3,000 packs of semolina and 2,500 cartons of pasta to 400 hundred households inthe state, marking a continuation of an earlier round of food distribution carried out under the same federal federal government social investment scheme.

“A few months ago, this outreach began with a limited distribution. Today, on behalf of Her Excellency, the First Lady of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, I am honored to extend this gesture to a larger number of our people.

“We can all testify that the Renewed Hope Initiative is daily giving hope to Nigerians. No doubt, this gesture will reach those at the grassroots”.

Deaconess Oborevwori who is also the Founder of the You Matter Charity Foundation, encouraged beneficiaries and the general public to keep supporting the program with prayers and positivity.

Earlier, Wife of the Deputy Governor, Mrs. Catherine Onyeme, represented by the Commissioner for Basic and Secondary Education, Mrs. Rose Ezewu, appreciated Deaconess Oborevwori for strengthening the partnership with the wife of the President, a collaboration that has brought real empowerment to vulnerable groups in Delta State.

Beneficiaries of the outreach, also commended Deaconess Oborevwori for her efforts and strong support.
