Delta Governorship Election Tribunal: LP, Ken Pela confident of justice in their favour

Ken Pela and LP confident of justice in their favour at tribunal

The Labour Party (LP) candidate in the March 18th Governorship elections in Delta State, Deacon Ken Pela says for any Governor or President to answer ”His Excellency” the election process leading to such declaration must be excellent.

Pela made this assertion in an interview with YourCitiNews Freelance Reporter, Frederick Umuerure in Agbarho, Ughelli North Local Government Area of Delta State while reacting to the recent Appeal Court judgement granting him approval to return to the Election Tribunal to continue his petition challenging the victory of Governor Sheriff Oborevwori of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).

He noted that with over forty days left at the Tribunal, he and his party are confident the time frame will be utilized to bring about justice in their favour.

Pela explained that Deltans have grown tired of the lack of major infrastructural developments in the state for over 24 years of PDP being in power. He also pointed out that road construction in the state has become a conduit pipe for embezzlement of public funds, whereas dilapidated roads are visible in almost every part of Delta state.

The governorship candidate maintained that he is confident of getting judgement at the end of the tribunal.
