Delta govt commends online news publishers and proprietors in the state

Delta State Government on Wednesday, commended the support and cooperation of online news publishers and proprietors in the state.

This was disclosed by the Executive Assistant to the Governor on New Media, Comrade Felix Ofou, when he played host to a delegation of the Delta Online Publishers Forum, (DOPF) led by the Chairman, Mr. Emmanuel Enebeli.

Conveying the appreciation of the state government, Ofou said that members of the Forum had consistently been publishing the activities of government over the years at their own cost, even in the current hard times, assuring that their partnership would not be taken for granted.

Comrade Ofou, however, encouraged the publishers to consult his office for any necessary clarification before publishing and assured them of inclusion in the administration’s plan.

Meanwhile, the Chairman of DOPF, Mr. Emmanuel Enebeli, thanked the Oborevwori-led administration for the infrastructural development it had so far initiated, especially in Warri, Effurun and environs of the state and urged the Governor to act on the Agbor-Umutu,-Obiaruku-Abraka road to make it motorable and boost economic activities in the state.

Enebeli advocated for better support for the group member giving their consistent support in disseminating government news daily and sought the executive assistant’s cooperation in this regard.
