Delta State Governor Sheriff Oborevwori recently received a six-bed Intensive Care Unit (ICU) donated by Pastor Chuks Agidigbo through the Chuks Agidigbo Leadership Foundation and Medast Limited to Central Hospital in Kwale, Ndokwa West LGA.
Represented by Senior Policy Adviser Rt. Hon. Funkekeme Solomon, Governor Oborevwori praised the donation as a vital addition to the state’s healthcare system, supporting his M.O.R.E Agenda.
“This six-bed ICU will aid patients and healthcare personnel, particularly during emergencies, thanks to its modern equipment, including ventilators, oxygen concentrators, and patient monitors,” he said, calling on others to support Delta’s healthcare goals.
Commissioner for Health, Dr. Joseph Onojaeme, expressed gratitude for the gesture, highlighting the government’s efforts to foster partnerships for enhanced healthcare. Pastor Chuks Agidigbo emphasized that private sector support can bridge critical gaps in healthcare infrastructure.
Distinguished attendees commended Agidigbo’s initiative, noting the positive impact on Delta’s healthcare sector.
