Delta PDP Chairman commissions multipurpose hall in Otor-Udu, says PDP will take back Udu LGA

The Delta State Chairman of Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Chief (Barr.) Kingsley Esiso, has commissioned the Brooklyn Park Executive Multipurpose Hall in Otor-Udu, Udu Local Government Area in Delta State, saying the PDP will take back Udu Local Government from the opposition party. 

The edifice, which was built by the Hon. Jite Brown administration of Udu Local Government Council, was commissioned on Monday October 16, at the Udu Local Government Council Secretariat.

Chief Esiso, in his remarks, said the Udu Local Government Chairman, Hon. Jite Brown, did not lose the election in Udu, but PDP lost the election to the All Progressives Congress. “We lost the election in Udu temporarily and very soon we will take it back”, the PDP Chairman, declared.

He commended Hon. Brown, for executing laudable projects in Udu, saying, “it gives me joy to see council chairmen execute projects in their communities. I commend you and want you to execute more project within the few months left in this administration.”

The Chairman of Udu Local Government Area, Hon. Jite Brown, in his address, stated: “In-line with the State Governor, Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori’s MORE agenda, we commission the Brooklyn Park/Exco Multi-Purpose Hall Building & Solar Flood Lights here at the headquarters of Udu Local Government Area. 

“The edifice, will address accessible contact with all supervisors, an improved state of convenience for registry marriages, larger conference room for governmental meetings, amongst others.”

He assured the people of Udu Local Government that his administration will continue to bring meaningful infrastructural projects within available resources.

The Udu Council Boss, thanked the people of Udu, members of his Exco, the Peoples Democratic Party, the Ovie of Udu and Brooklyn Park United Kingdom for their support.

The Supervisor for Finance in the Council, Hon. Lawson Oghoifor, thanked the Chairman for the multi-purpose hall, explaining that the hall contains an office for each supervisor.

The Ovie of Udu kingdom, His Royal Majesty, Barr. E.B.O Delekpe, represented by Chief Uparan Moses, President-General of Udu kingdom;  Delta State Commissioner for Oil and Gas, Chief Vincent Oyibode, represented by Hon Tobore; Chief Oghenekaro Goru, Board member representing Urhobo Ethnic Nationality in DESOPADEC and the Chairman of Local Government Service Commission in Delta State, Hon. Joseph Otirhue, were among dignitaries present during the commissioning.
