Delta Police Detain Filmmaker Stanley Ajemba Following Petition, Case Under Investigation

The Delta State Police Command announced Tuesday, December 9, 2025, that filmmaker and social commentator Stanley Ajemba popularly known as Stanley Ontop has been arrested and detained at the State Criminal Investigation Department.

The police said the arrest was made after a petition was filed by a female complainant.

In a statement confirming the development, the command’s spokesperson, SP Bright Edafe, said Stanley remains in police custody as investigations continue. The nature and details of the allegations have not yet been publicly disclosed.

Though social media speculation has linked the petition to an earlier online dispute between Stanley and actress Queeneth Hilbeth, such claims remain unverified.

The police sources maintain that the process is ongoing.

At this stage, the Delta Police Command is urging members of the public to allow the investigative process to run its course, while promising to release further information when appropriate.
