Delta Police Recover Stolen SUV, Firearms in Coordinated Raids

The Delta State Police Command has recovered a stolen Mercedes Benz GLK, firearms, motorcycles, and other stolen items in separate operations across Asaba and Ogwashi-Ukwu.

Acting on intelligence, officers arrested a suspect in Asaba with the stolen SUV, while a parallel operation in Ogwashi-Ukwu led to the arrest of two armed robbery suspects and the seizure of weapons, electronics, and victims’ personal belongings.

Commissioner of Police Olufemi Abaniwonda praised the swift action of his men, reaffirming the Command’s commitment to intelligence-led policing and urging residents to report suspicious activity promptly.
