Delta reviews progress on Burutu Port Project with Akewa-Colmar Terminal Ltd

On July 1, 2024, the Delta State Government held an important meeting with AKEWA-COLMAR TERMINAL LIMITED to discuss the Burutu Port Project.

Led by Dr Kingsley Emu, the Secretary to the State Government, the meeting highlighted major progress and confirmed the government’s commitment to making Delta State a key shipping centre for West and Central Africa.

This project aims to boost the state’s economy, bring significant development, and create jobs. In addition, It is expected to transform the shipping industry in the region, making Delta State a major hub for maritime activities.
