The women wing of the All Progressives Congress, APC, in Delta South Senatorial district have pledged to remain United and work for the common good of the party.
The convener of the meeting who is the APC Delta South Senatorial district Woman Leader, Chief Onome Ogagarojor explained that Unity empowers, amplifies voices and expands opportunities and called on Delta South women to be United and Support the APC Government in the State and at the National level.
Chief Ogagarojor enjoined the Delta South APC Women to participate in politics to fill up the percentage meant for women in governance and for them to support one another.
The Delta State Commissioner for Humanitarian Affairs, Community Services and Girl Child Development, Orode Uduaghan, Vice Chairman of Isoko North, Dr Evelyn Aluta,, Member,Local Government Service Commission, Dr Mimie Igbrude, Queen Mother, Betty Efekoda, Chief Vero Tangbwei, Chief Ann Iniovosa amongst others on their separate speeches said Unity is not an option and charged the women to speak with one voice.

The Women commended the Delta State Governor Right Honourable Sheriff Oborevwori for the female inclusion in governance of the state, noting that having female vice Chairmen across the Local Government Councils in the State is a demonstration that the governor has the interest of women in the State at heart and called for support for Him.
A vote of confidence and support for President Bola Tinubu and the State Governor Right Honourable Sheriff Oborevwori at the meeting was moved by the leader of the Warri South Legislative Arm, Honourable Joy Ejumudo, and seconded by Hon. Eloro Eze.
Women from Delta South Senatorial district who had made the state proud in their various endeavors including Deaconess Tobore Oborevwori, Deaconess Roli Uduaghan, Senator Stella Omu were all honored at the meeting which was well attended.
