Delta Speaker, Guwor Lauds Benue Lawmakers, Calls For Unity

Speaker, Delta State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Emomotimi Dennis Guwor, has called for total commitment from stakeholders towards the unity and advancement of Nigeria.

Guwor made the statement during 2nd Anniversary Thanksgiving Service of the 10th Benue State House of Assembly, held at St. Mark’s Parish, Apir, in Makurdi, the state capital.

The speaker while calling for unity among stakeholders, lauded the Benue State House of Assembly for choosing to mark its second anniversary with a special thanksgiving, saying such gestures reflect humility and a recognition of God’s grace in governance.

Guwor who is also the National Treasurer of the Conference of Speakers of State Houses of Assembly and also a special guest of honor at the ceremony was Adorned in Tiv traditional attire in honour of his hosts.

Guwor prayed for the repose of the souls of the people killed in some parts of the state. the departed and asked God to comfort the bereaved families.

The Speaker was accompanied to the event by the Member Representing Ughelli South Constituency in the Delta State House of Assembly, Hon. Festus Utuama, along with some of his political aides.
