Over one thousand five hundred youths drawn from Udu, Ughelli South and Ughelli North Local Government Areas have been taken off the labour market as they were equipped with relevant vocational skills to create jobs for themselves and others.
The over one thousand five hundred youths who were trained under the More Agenda foundation in collaboration with Omo foundation in various vocational skills which includes fashion and design, GSM repair, hair dressing, shoe making, soap and detergent production, solar institutions, catering, computer training, fish farming amongst other skills.
Presenting the starter packs to some of the beneficiaries of the program, the executive assistant to the State Governor on community development, Hon Benjamin Sharta disclosed that the program was designed inline with the More Agenda of Governor Sheriff Oborevwori which is geared towards helping the youths of Udu, Ughelli South and North to develop their full potentials and reduce unemployment rate and criminality to the bearest minimum.
Hon Sharta fondly called DJ Ben maintained that with the current situation across the country there is need for all youths to arm themselves with skills revealing that the trainees were strictly supervised during the program and hailed them for conducting themselves in a matured manner while the program lasted.
The executive assistant to the Governor on community development called on political leaders to invest in the youths thereby propagating the good intentions of Governor Sheriff Oborevwori.

The State Commissioner for transport Hon Onoriode Agofure, the executive director of finance in Delta State Board of Internal Revenue Service, Hon Kelly Oghenekevwe, the chairman of Udu Local Government, Olorogun Vincent Oyibode and his Ughelli North Local Government counterpart, Olorogun Jarho Egbo and the commissioner representing Udu, Uvwie, Ughelli South and the Urhobo’s of Warri on the board of Dessopadec, Hon Karo Goru all hailed Hon D J Ben for advancing the More Agenda of Governor Oborevwori through the skill acquisition program revealing that the multiplayer effect will be much on the state.
The Ovie of Udu Kingdom Okporua the first urged the recipients to remain good ambassadors of the More Agenda foundation and use the skills to add value to their lives.
In an interview some of the trainees thank Hon Benjamin Sharta and Governor Oborevwori for the training saying they are now better equipped to eck a living for themselves.
