Ahead of the 2027 general elections in Nigeria, the leader of the All Progressives Congress, APC, Ward 5, Ugborikoko, Uvwie Local Government Area of Delta State, Honourable Ramson Onoyake says Governor Sheriff Oborevwori has performed creditably well and made the forthcoming campaigns easy to win elections.
Honourable Ramson Onoyake, who is also the Special Adviser to the Governor on Youth Development in Delta Central, however, tasked youths in the Senatorial district and Uvwie people to canvass for more eligible voters into the APC family.
The former chairman of Uvwie local government spoke alongside the chairman of the party in the locality, Sir Wilfred Ileleji, as well as Chief Rose Oghene, the Senior Special Assistant to the state governor on Women Development.
Speaking at the APC inaugural meeting, leader of the party in Ward 5, Ugborikoko, Honourable Ramson Onoyake noted that it is a unity gathering as there is no difference between new and old members.
Honourable Onoyake tasked the chairman of Ward 5, Ugborikoko and the unit chairmen, as well as the leaders, to work together to ensure victory of the party during the 2027 general elections.
He noted that Governor Sheriff Oborevwori has performed creditably well ahead of his second term but charged all party members not to rest as a lot of work needs to be done.
The chairman of APC in Uvwie local government area, Sir Wilfred Ileleji, lauded Governor Oborevwori for the development of Uvwie, especially in areas of infrastructure like flyovers and a quality network of roads and employment of indigenes into political positions.

Also speaking, the Senior Special Assistant to the governor on Women Development, Chief Rose Oghene, said there was need for all members to strengthen their strategies towards bringing in more members into the APC.
A stalwart of the party in Ward 5, Ugborikoko, Chief J.J. Ukuwere disclosed that the agenda of the inaugural meeting was the need to strengthen the registration of new members.
To achieve this, Chief Ukuwere said training and coordination were ingredients required to ensure success. Earlier, the chairman of Ward 5 Ugborikoko, Mr Julius Ayouniwe and the Woman leader of the Ward, Mrs Beauty Akusu, appealed to all the youths and women of voting age to work for the success of the APC ahead of the 2027 general elections.
