The Asagba of Asaba, Obi Epiphany Azinge, has expressed the preparedness to partner the National Orientation Agency in sensitizing Asaba Indigenes and residents on morals and national values .
The Asagba stated this in his palace when the Delta State Director of National Orientation Agency, Mrs Tracy Ikolomi led her management team to pay him an advocacy visit.
The traditional ruler who is a Senior Advocate of Nigeria, stressed the need for the National Orientation Agency to do more in sensitizing the young ones on the fundamental human rights as provided for in Chapter Four of the 1999 Constitution of Nigeria as amended.
Obi Azinge said awareness of basic rights was key in a democratic setting, and that it would help in bringing about a better society.

”You can create awareness on the fundamental human rights by simplifying the document. In Delta, you should translate in some of the major ethnic languages: Igbo, Urhobos, Itsekiri, Isoko, Ijaw. That is the challenge before you. You have to speak to the people in the language they will understand,” Asagba stated.
The Asagba of Asaba called for more sensitization on the various reforms of the administration of President Bola Tinubu , saying that a lots were being done but not much of awareness on the policies and programmes of the government.

”We intend to engage communities in dialogue and promoting understanding and enlighten communities on the need for conflict resolution and create awareness on progresses and unity among Nigeria, transcending enthic, religious and regional divides”
”This program targets the root causes of those conflicts, promoting social cohesion, peace and development.
She stated further, Our rebranded message as National Orientation Agency is the new National Values of easily recognized and internalized duties, obligations and privileges of both citizens and government with the catch phrase, “The Nigerian Promise and the Charter encapsulated in the acronym “Seven for Seven”. This is a set of seven reciprocal commitments between the country and citizens in a condensed version Citizen Code”.
”This programme targets the root causes of those conflicts, promoting social cohesion aimed at creating an environment conducive to national development and hopefully break down barriers and foster a sense of shared citizenship”’
