Delta State wins world debate championship in Qatar

Nigeria, represented by Delta State, has won the World Debate Championship in Qatar.

The State of Chicago USA, Nigeria, and Qatar got to the finals of the competition.

Delta State team had won the National Championship organised by the President School Debate Nigeria in the Presidency.

Nigeria won 2-1 in the first round against host Qatar, and then 3-0 in the final round, bringing the total 5-1 to emerge winner.

The Chairman, Delta State Universal Education Board, SUBEB, led the youngster from Delta State to Qatar to represent Nigeria for the World academic competition.
