Don Jazzy Clarifies UK Car Accident Story: ‘I Didn’t Run from Police’

Music mogul Don Jazzy has finally addressed a long-standing story from his early days in the UK that has continued to circulate online, involving a car accident and a police impound.

The story gained renewed attention after his former associate, Bankulli, shared an account of the incident. According to Bankulli, a young Don Jazzy allegedly crashed his car in London, removed the license plate, and fled the scene before the police could arrive. Bankulli suggested that the budding producer, still finding his footing in a new city, was trying to avoid extra costs and complications.

Don Jazzy, however, has now set the record straight. Reacting to the story on social media, he clarified that he never attempted to run from the authorities. He explained that he waited for the police to arrive, who then administered a breathalyser test, which confirmed he was not under the influence. While the car was impounded by the authorities, Don Jazzy said leaving it behind was simply a matter of practicality.

“The fine to collect the car back was more than the cheap car, so I left it with them lol,” he humorously recounted, adding context to a story that has often been misrepresented. The clarification provides a glimpse into the early challenges the music producer faced while navigating life abroad and highlights his pragmatic approach to handling unexpected situations.
