Elevate Africa fellows attend the Women Allying Women townhall meeting in Olu Palace Warri

The Royal Iwere Foundation in partnership with the Elevate Africa Fellowship, organized the Women Allying Women: EstablishHer Enterprise Fund Townhall to empower women with access to funding, mentorship, and networks for growth.

Women entrepreneurs in Warri and beyond benefitted from this strategic engagement aimed at strengthening their businesses and expanding their opportunities.

The event which happened on Thursday, March 27, 2025, at the Palace of the Olu of Warri brought together industry leaders, financial experts, and successful female entrepreneurs to discuss leadership, financial inclusion, and business sustainability.

It also included a pitch session where selected women showcased their enterprises to potential investors.

A representative of the Royal Iwere Foundation who spoke on the initiative, emphasized on the importance of supporting women-led businesses.

He said, “This townhall is not just about discussions; it is about action and we want to ensure that women have the financial and social capital they need to scale their businesses,”.

An Elevate Africa Fellowship official also hammered on the impact of the program, saying, “Women are key drivers of economic transformation and that while they are equipped with resources and strategic partnerships, they are fostering inclusive growth that will benefits entire communities.”

With a focus on enterprise development and innovation, the gathering focus was to inspire a new wave of female entrepreneurs determined to make a lasting impact in their respective industries.
