The Excellent Ladies Association of Ukwuani Local Government Council visited several public primary schools across the LGA today to distribute notebooks to pupils.
During the distribution, the Association’s President, Comr. Mrs. Lilian Ekezue, encouraged the pupils to take their studies seriously, respect their parents and teachers, and rely on God for guidance in achieving their dreams. She also urged teachers to remain dedicated to their work and to ensure that the learning environment is kept clean and safe for everyone.
Mrs. Ekezue further advised the pupils to practice good personal and collective hygiene, reminding them that “cleanliness is next to godliness.”
Some of the schools visited included Ukwata Primary School, Umukwata; Ubeni Primary School, Eziokpor; Akashiede Primary School, Umuoshi; and Ekum Primary School, Umuekum.
At each school, members of the Excellent Ladies Association reaffirmed their support for the Education Development Goals of the Executive Chairman of Ukwuani Local Government, Hon. (Barr.) C.S. Possible Ajede, as outlined in his *“DO MORE AGENDA.”*
In response, the headteachers and staff of the schools expressed heartfelt appreciation to the Excellent Ladies for what they described as a thoughtful and impactful contribution to the education and welfare of their pupils.
