Ezechi inspects constituency projects, promises more development for Ndokwa/Ukwuani

The member representing Ndokwa/Ukwuani Federal Constituency in the National Assembly, Rt. Hon. Nnamdi Ezechi, on Monday, embarked on an inspection tour of ongoing projects across the constituency, underscoring his commitment to improving infrastructure and education for his people.

At Mixed Secondary School, Akoku-Ebedei, Ukwuani Local Government Area, Hon. Ezechi inspected a six-classroom block under construction, which had reached the roofing stage. Expressing satisfaction with the quality and pace of the project, he assured students that it would be completed and commissioned soon. He also pledged to address the school’s water supply challenges.

The Principal of the school, Mr. Newton Egbe, along with community leaders Comrade Fidelis Azaka and Comrade Enudi Marcus, praised Hon. Ezechi for facilitating the project, describing it as a significant boost to education in the area and a testament to his dedication to his constituents.

In Ndokwa West, at Mixed Secondary School, Onicha Ukwuani, the lawmaker inspected a fully completed four-classroom block with toilet facilities. Hon. Ezechi announced plans to furnish the classrooms and revealed that fencing the school would be included in the next Federal budget. Addressing students, he encouraged them to focus on their education to achieve their dreams.

The school’s Principal, Mr. Paul Ugboko, lauded the lawmaker’s efforts and appealed for assistance in recruiting youth corpers to address a shortage of teachers.

The visit to Oluchi Primary School, Okpai, Ndokwa East, Hon. Ezechi’s alma mater, showcased another completed four-classroom block. The lawmaker assured staff and students that furniture would soon be provided, while fencing work would commence shortly.

Concluding the tour, Hon. Ezechi inspected a 1.3-kilometer internal road in Okpai, announcing that asphalt laying would begin in the coming weeks. His visit drew widespread commendation from constituents, who applauded his focus on sustainable development and tangible progress for the Ndokwa/Ukwuani Federal Constituency.
