Eziafa Parliament Urges Members to Unite

A leading socio-political group, Eziafa Parliament in Okpanam, Oshimili North Local Government Area of Delta State, has called on its members to be more proactive and committed to achieving the group’s core goals and vision.

The Speaker of the Parliament, Comrade John Ogbogu, made the appeal during a get-together event held in Okpanam and sponsored by one of the members, Lawrence Okolie, popularly known as Oka.

Ogbogu explained that the group was founded to promote unity, love, and social development among its members and the larger community. He added that Eziafa Parliament comprises both indigenes and non-indigenes living in Okpanam who share a common desire to contribute positively to the town’s progress.

He described members as responsible, dependable, and forward-thinking individuals united by a shared vision for the collective advancement of the group and Okpanam community.

Ogbogu also urged members especially the indigenous ones eligible to vote in the upcoming Okpanam youth elections to remain united and speak with one voice when choosing candidates. He stressed the importance of rallying behind the candidate endorsed by the Eziafa Parliament, to ensure the group’s influence and values are upheld.

In his remarks, the Vice President of Okpanam Youth Organization, Comrade Chukwudi Abumujor, who is also a member of the group, emphasized the need for residents to embrace peace, love, and unity. He commended the Parliament for its commitment to community growth and urged them to remain consistent in their humanitarian and development-driven initiatives.

The Chairman of Obodogwugwu Youths, Comrade Chigozie Ogonenwe, another active member of the Parliament, was among the several notable youth leaders who attended the lively get-together.
