FOOG Women Support Group Pledges Strong Support for Tinubu, Oborevwori

A political advocacy group operating under the FOOG Women Support Group (FWSG) has committed to driving strong grassroots mobilization and encouraging widespread participation by women in support of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Delta State Governor Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori as the 2027 general elections approach.

The group’s Convener, Chief (Mrs.) Esther Ori Okotie-Eboh fondly known as the Iye of Warri Kingdom made this known during a media chat in Warri while celebrating her birthday with members of the support group.

Chief (Mrs.) Okotie-Eboh praised President Tinubu and Governor Oborevwori as visionary leaders with clear goals, saying their leadership has inspired renewed hope and meaningful change for Nigerians both within the country and in the diaspora.

According to the Convener of the FOOG Women Support Group, the organization has put strategic plans in place across all senatorial districts and local government areas in Delta State to mobilize women and young voters—especially every woman aged 18 and above to actively campaign and rally support for both leaders.

She highlighted the importance of women’s active role in politics as a key part of democratic growth, adding that the FWSG is committed to promoting inclusive participation and raising awareness across the country ahead of the elections.

Chief (Mrs.) Okotie-Eboh also warmly congratulated President Bola Tinubu, Governor Sheriff Oborevwori, and Nigerians everywhere as the nation marked its 65th Independence Anniversary.

She called the occasion a time for thoughtful reflection and a renewed dedication to building the nation, encouraging citizens to stay hopeful and strong in the face of ongoing challenges.

Chief Okotie-Eboh reaffirmed her group’s strong support for President Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda and Governor Oborevwori’s MORE Agenda, noting that both initiatives have set the stage for meaningful and lasting socio-economic development.
