A mammoth crowd of Enerhen residents, comprising youths and the elderly thronged Adugbo-Sedco quarters to benefit from the free medical care provided by the Oak Medical Foundation and Oakland Medical Foundation.
The one-day medical outreach offered a wide range of healthcare services, including health education sessions, free blood pressure and sugar level checks, complimentary malaria and eye examinations, as well as the distribution of free reading glasses to more than 500 residents.
Beneficiaries also received free medication and referrals for further hospital care when necessary, all aimed at improving the health and well-being of the local population.
Executive Director of the twin foundations, Deacon Jude Obasodje, explained that the initiative, founded by its Chairman, Dr. Charles Keshi, is a non-governmental, community-focused organisation that provides essential healthcare interventions and comprehensive support services to those in need.
