Governor Sheriff Oborevwori has extended warm felicitations to former Senator representing Delta North Senatorial District, Senator Peter Nwaoboshi, on the occasion of his 68th birth anniversary, on June 29.
Governor Oborevwori in a statement by his Chief Press Secretary, Sir Festus Ahon in Asaba, lauded the former lawmaker, who once chaired the Senate Committee on Niger Delta Affairs, as a distinguished Deltan.
He acknowledged Senator Nwaoboshi’s significant input to national discourse and legislative development, especially as it relates to the Niger Delta region and Delta State.
Oborevwori also noted that Nwaoboshi’s emergence as a political figure of note was the result of years of dedicated public service and strategic leadership.
“On behalf of the government and good people of Delta State, I extend hearty congratulations to you, my dear brother, Senator Peter Onyelukachukwu Nwaoboshi, as you mark your 68th birth anniversary.
“I join your family, associates, and admirers in giving thanks to God for His grace upon your life. I pray for your continued well-being and divine favour”, Oborevwori stated.
