Governor Oborevwori Sues for Love, Respect as He Celebrates Olu of Warri

The people of Warri kingdom have been urged to emulate the Olu of Warri, Ogiame Atuwatse the third, by remaining united and upholding the values of love and respect for service to God and humanity.

Delta State Governor, Rt Hon Sheriff Oborevwori gave the advice during the 4th coronation Anniversary thanksgiving of the Olu of Warri on Sunday at Aghofen Olu place, Ajamimogha in Warri South Local Government Area.

Governor Oborevwori, while congratulating the Olu of Warri, Ogiame Atuwatse III, described the Warri monarch as a man of peace, a bridge builder, and a champion of sustainable development in just four years on the throne.

He called on the people of Warri to continue to sustain the peace to attract more development to Warri and its environs.

For his part, the Olu of Warri, Ogiame Atuwatse the third, committed Warri to God and prayed that peace would continue to reign in the land.

The Olu of Warri thanked God for his blessings and protection of the people of Iwere land. He stated that God has been with him in the past four years on the throne and gives Him all the glory.


Earlier in a sermon, the guest speaker, Reverend Gideon Shyllon, applauded the Olu of Warri for always giving thanks to God for all his goodness to him and the people of Iwere, stressing that thanksgiving to God attracts more blessings to the people.
