Governor Oborevwori’s Aide Alleges Threat to Life by Security Operatives

The Special Adviser to Delta State Governor on Intelligence Gathering and Boundary Matters Apostle Sunny Jero has appealed to the Inspector General of Police to investigate a security breach into his premises by uniformed men suspected to be from the Nigeria Police force.

Apostle Jero narrating his experience with a special security team who stormed his residence in Effurun, revealed that the security team acted outside the law as they stormed his premises without a search warrant.

Apostle Jero alleged that the team broke into the back door of his residence while others broke the ceiling of his building in a bid to gain access to his residence.

He noted that it took efforts of his family members and friends who reached out to the Divisional Police Officer of Ugborikoko before the identities of the officers were ascertained.

Apostle Sunny Jero alleged threat to his life and family noting that his aged mother almost collapsed as a result of the raid by the security officers.

He emphasized the urgent need for the inspector General of Police Kayode Egbetokun to step into the matter.
