Governor Oborewvori Reiterates Commitment to Delivering Quality Projects in Delta

As part of an effort geared towards stimulating the local economy, the Multi-Billion Naira Udu Harbour Market in Udu Local Government being executed by the Governor Sheriff Oborevwwori has reached an advanced stage of completion.

Speaking during the inspection of the project which has 604 lock-up shops, 126 open shops, an abattoir and other facilities, Governor Sheriff Oborevwwori debunked rumours of marginalisation and neglect of Udu Local Government area in terms of projects saying that a lot of jobs have been completed while others were at different stages of completion.

The Governor said every part of the state will get more dividends of democracy and urged naysayers to base their allegations on facts rather than fiction.

Governor Oborewvori who thanked Deltans for their continued support, promised to use his Renewed Hope For MORE Agenda to the advantage of all.

While affirming that he was impressed with the pace and quality of work done, He charged the contracting firm to double their efforts in order to meet the project completion date.

The representative of the contracting firm and Supervising Ministry of Housing assured the Governor that no effort will be spared in finishing the project in line with contractual agreement.

Some Indigenes of the town including youths and women were full of praises for the Governor and ssured him of their support beyond 2027.
