Guwor Hails First Lady Tobore Oborevwori for her Kindness

The Speaker of the Delta State House of Assembly, Rt Hon Emomotimi Dennis Guwor, has extended warm felicitations to Her Excellency, Deaconess Tobore Oborevwori, wife of Governor Sheriff Oborevwori, describing her as a shining example of compassion, elegance, and selfless service on the occasion of her 56th birth anniversary.

In a statement issued Thursday through his Chief Press Secretary, Nkem Nwaeke, Speaker Guwor praised the First Lady for her unwavering dedication to uplifting the less privileged and advancing the socio-economic progress of Delta State.

“Mrs. Oborevwori embodies the values of love, care, and generosity,” Guwor said. “Her tireless efforts in championing the welfare of others have earned her widespread admiration among critical stakeholders in the Delta project.”

The Speaker highlighted Deaconess Oborevwori’s role as a pillar of support to her husband, the Governor, as he steers the state toward greater development.

He particularly commended her impactful work through the You Matter Charity Foundation, which has touched countless lives across Delta and beyond by providing aid to vulnerable groups, including medical outreach, empowerment programmes, and support for women and children.

“Your Excellency, as you mark this significant milestone, I, on behalf of my wife Timiebi, my family, and the good people of Warri South West Constituency, wish you abundant joy, peace, happiness, and fulfilment in the year ahead,” Guwor stated.

He prayed for God’s continued blessings of good health, wisdom, and strength upon the celebrant, enabling her to remain a strong pillar for Governor Oborevwori in realising the vision of a MORE prosperous Delta State.

“On behalf of the entire Delta State House of Assembly, we wish Her Excellency a happy birthday and many more years of living life to the fullest. May this new age bring peace, robust health, and even greater impact. May God’s goodness overflow in every aspect of your life,” the Speaker added.
