The Speaker of the Delta State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Emomotimi Dennis Guwor, has described the “Governor of the Year” award conferred on Governor Sheriff Oborevwori by THISDAY/Arise Media Group as a well-deserved recognition of hard work and dedication to public service.
In a statement issued by his Chief Press Secretary, Nkem Nwaeke, Speaker Guwor commended Governor Oborevwori’s administrative ingenuity over the past year and eight months, noting the remarkable impact of his leadership in Delta State.
He also praised the management of THISDAY/Arise Media Group for acknowledging the governor’s exceptional qualities and contributions. “The award is a testament to the governor’s capacity and competence in governance. As a goldfish has no hiding place, this honor is well merited,” he stated.
On behalf of the Delta State House of Assembly, Warri South West Constituents, and his political associates, Speaker Guwor extended heartfelt congratulations to the governor.
