Hoodlums stabs girl brutally in Warri after robbing her

Hoodlums in the early hours of Wednesday morning reportedly stabbed a girl several times on different parts of her body along Ogunu road by Federal Government College, Warri. She was dispossessed of her phone and other personal belongings.

Fresh Angle reports that the incident occurred around 5.30am. The victim was hurrying to work when the criminals accosted her.

Her identity is still unknown as at the time of this report.                 

It was gathered that her yells, resulting from the multiple injuries she sustained, attracted the attention of officers of the paramilitary organization, Man ‘O’ War stationed at Federal Government College, Warri.                                   

The officers chased the criminals, who allegedly ran into the abandoned Shell Petroleum Development Company, SPDC facility, opposite the school.

Eyewitnesses at the school, disclosed that family members of the robbery victim, were subsequently contacted and she was moved to an undisclosed hospital for immediate treatment.

Recall that YourCitiNews reported incidences of armed robbery and kidnapping, which have have escalated in Warri, Ughelli and environs in the past weeks.
