Ibori, Lokpobiri, Olu of Warri, Others attend Pere of Kabowei Kingdom Coronation Anniversary

Former Governor of Delta State, Chief James Ibori, Senator Representing Delta South Senatorial District, Joel Onowakpo, Minister of State for Petroleum, Heineken Lokpobiri, Ogiame Atuwatse III, the Olu of Warri, Abe I, the Ovie of Uvwie amongst other high profile politicians and monarchs from across Delta and Bayelsa States attended the 7th Coronation Anniversary of His Royal Majesty, Peremobowei Shedrack Erebulu, Aduo III, the Pere of Kabowei kingdom in Patani on Saturday, October 19, 2024.

The monarch ascended the throne of his fore fathers in 2017.

Kabowei kingdom bestrides Ijaw communities in both Delta and Bayelsa States. The parts of the kingdom in Delta State are: Koloware, Aven. (Taware, Akowre, Ogemware, Ekise, Osou-ware, Okruware, Ajfenaware, Okruware). 

The ones known as Patani (Opu-Kabu) Asedeni and Pereware are found in Abare, all in Patani Local Government Area of Delta State, while Asamabiri, Ekperi-ware, Elemebiri, Trofani Aduku, New Patani and Adagbabiri are all located in Sagbama Local Government Area of Bayelsa State.

The speaker of the Bayelsa State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Abraham Ingobere, Member of the Delta State House of Assembly, Hon. Emmanuel Sinebe, Delta State Commissioner of Youth Development, Trakiriowei Thankgod, Tantita boss, Kestin Pondi amongst other dignitaries also graced the occasion.
