People of Idjerhe Kingdom in Ethiope West Local Government Area of Delta State have expressed their appreciation to the State Governor Right Honorable Sheriff Oborevwori for the approval for construction of a two kilometers road in Jesse community alongside the Governor’s empowerment initiatives to indigenes of Idjerhe Kingdom.
The appreciation was conveyed by the Unuevworo of Idjerhe Central Oguedion Chief Solomon Ojariefe in an exclusive interview with Journalists.
Speaking on human capital and infrastructural development across Delta State, the Unuevworo of Central Oguedion of Idjerhe Kingdom Chief Solomon Ojariefe asserted that Governor Sheriff Oborevwori deserves all the accolades owing to his visionary strides which has led to the transformation of all parts of the state.
The Unuevworo of Central Oguedion of Idjerhe Kingdom noted that Idjerhe Kingdom has also benefited from the Governor’s MORE AGENDA in area of infrastructure and empowerment opportunities.
Chief Ojariefe who commended the council of chiefs of Idjerhe Central Oguedion for their support, dedication and unity also lauded the youths for their peaceful nature in driving the development urging them to sustain such to the betterment of all.
While urging all Idjerhe sons and daughters at home and in the diaspora to contribute to the development of their kingdomChief Ojarief appealed to the state government to reopen Idjerhe grammar school so that teaching and learning can resume.
On the closure of the gate of the Idjerhe Central Oguedion the Unuevworo Chief Ojariefe disclosed that the development was in honour of the departed Unugbrogodo of Idjerhe Kingdom Chief Agbamitotor who recently joined his ancestors.
Also speaking a former President General of Idjerhe Clan Chief Augustine Omonode lauded the pragmatic leadership style of the Unuevworo of Idjerhe Central Oguedion Chief Solomon Ojariefe stating that the chiefs, women and youths are satisfied with him. He added that Idjerhe Kingdom is peaceful will continue to remain peaceful in order to attract more development.
The Community leaders called on the youths to channel their energies to meaningful ventures to sustain the pace of development of Idjerhe.
