The Idjerhe Elite Youth for Development IEYD have appealed to Delta State Governor Right Honorable Sheriff Oborevwori to revive various infrastructures in Idjerhe Kingdom to enable citizens to enjoy the dividends of Democracy.
The Youths who made this known in a communique issued at the end of a meeting of the Idjerhe Elite Youth for Development IEYD held at Jesse town in Ethiope West Local Government Area of Delta State stated that revival of these infrastructures would rejuvenate the economy of their area.
Addressing all present Convener of Idjerhe elite youths for development IEYD Mr Charles Odudu stated that the vision of IEYD aims at bringing positive change in Idjerhe Kingdom and Ethiope West Local Government Area.
Mr Odudu revealed that the Idjerhe elite youths for development IEYD is poised and determined to attract the needed development to indigenes of Idjerhe Kingdom but called on Sons and Daughters to give their support to the present administration of Governor Sheriff Oborevwori.
He praised the Governor for recording remarkable strides in road construction, rehabilitation of health centers and education in the state but appealed to the Governor to revive the abandoned General Hospital in Jesse, help reopen the only government Secondary School Idjerhe Grammar School which has been shut down for over eight months and revisit the deplorable state of roads in Jesse community.

Similarly other members of Idjerhe Elite Youth for Development IEYD including Mr Elvis Uyo, Mr Iteme Nupac, Mr Collins Atoberuru and a trader in Jesse market all pointed to the dilapidated road infrastructure, epileptic power supply, insecurity occasioned by farmers-herders clashes in Jesse community.
They appealed to Governor Oborevwori to address security issues in Idjerhe Kingdom and also called on sons and daughters of Idjerhe Kingdom to discourage drug abuse, cultism, rape and other societal vices.
Meantime the Idjerhe Elite Youth for Development IEYD has called on Sons and Daughters of Idjerhe Kingdom to use their influence to attract commercial banks to Jesse to lessen the burden on the masses on daily basis.
