Prominent Ijaw sons from Delta State extraction have commended Governor Sheriff Oborevwori for creating Ministry of Riverine Infrastructure aimed at addressing developmental needs of the coastal communities in the state.
Chief Ebikeme Clark, the newly sworn-in and pioneer Commissioner for Riverine Infrastructure commended Governor Oborevwori for listening to the cry of the riverine dwelling communities, by creating a separate ministry for their development.
Clark who expressed appreciation over his appointment and the creation of the new ministry by the state government said that in few years to come, the infrastructure gap between communities in the hinterlands and riverine communities would be balanced and be a thing of the past.

He urged the people to be patient with government, adding that the current administration led by Governor Oborevwori was poised to develop every part of the state.
