Ijaw nation honours late band members of Barrister Smooth in Warri

Family members, sympathizers and icons in Ijaw music industry gathered in Warri yesterday, Wednesday, June 21, 2023 for a service of songs and night of tributes in honour of the deceased members of Barrister Smooth music band, which include late Niger Delta Highlife Queen, Miss Ikesima Brown; Chief Joseph Ekeremieye aka Egberigboloemi; Tuku Eniebi; Mariam Amadi and Appah Appah. They lost their lives to a fatal road accident along the Abuja-Lokoja Highway on Sunday, June 11.

Barrister Smooth is a Nigerian Ijaw high life singer who is well known in the Niger delta region of Nigeria.

The Service of Songs and Night of Tributes, which held at Tunde Playground along NPA Expressway, Warri, Delta state, was attended by a large number of people including family members, friends, associates and music icons.
